Retired woman seeks refuge in old age home upon learning of husband's alleged infidelity

AHMEDABAD: A retired woman in Ahmedabad recently approached an old age home after she learned of her husband's alleged infidelity.
Vrinda and Manoj (names changed) were happily married with two settled children and comfortable lives. There were no signs of trouble on the horizon, not even financial ones. Vrinda retired as an MNC employee and looked forward to spending some quality time with her husband after her retirement.All was well until she found out that her husband spent a recent 'business trip' in Goa with a woman.
Vrinda decided to leave her husband and approached an old-age home, requesting them for shelter as well as work. After the home’s officials heard her story, they promised to accommodate her in the home.
